Description Q 1. Where would you normally use treated timber fence post caps ? On top of a 70 x 70mm fence post to dress it up. Q 2. What is it made out of ? Plantation grown Radiata Pine that has been H3 treated (suitable for above ground use). Q 3. What are the important dimensions ? Overall : 130mm Height x 65mm Diameter On the bottom there is a 50mm deep x 7mm diameter hole, to suit the IF034X Double Ended Screw, for easy fixing to posts. Q 4. How should you finish it ? We recommend that you use an oil based primer to seal the timber, then at least 2 coats of an oil based top paint in your desired colour to finish. Leaving it unfinished, oiling it or using a clear lacquer is not recommended. We highly recommend that you speak to your local paint retailer for more info.
