Good day! Thanks for asking! The PVR is a relay type AVR, while the PVS is a servo motor type AVR. They use different technology to regulate the voltage. Relay type uses an electronic circuit and a set of relays to regulate, hence it’s cheaper, but also not as accurate ( /-7%) and responds slower (within 1 second) in regulating. On the other hand, servo motor type uses a servo motor so it’s more expensive, but also very accurate ( /-1%) and responds within milliseconds when regulating. So, it all depends on your needs! For less sensitive appliances (e.g. TV, refrigerator), a relay type AVR is more than sufficient. However, for sensitive devices such as medical equipment, then the servo motor type AVR would be better. By the way, for relay type AVR, we also have two kinds: PVE and PVR. PVE would be cheaper as it’s a pure relay type AVR, whereas PVR is more expensive compared to PVE as it has a built-in transformer in case your appliance requires 100V or 110V output.
