PSP 1102: Panther 4 Gang Extension Cord w/ Switch and 3 Meter Wire

Hi, I am looking to buy this for my PC. However, my house is not grounded and I have researched that surge protectors will not work unless it is grounded properly. But I noticed that you also sell extensions with surge proctection without ground pins, and you also answered a comment saying that surge protection will still work even without ground pins (this product specifically https://panther.ph/product/psp-1202-extension-cord/). Will surge protection still work like that with this product? And please explain how. I am still looking to buy this for the convenience of not having to buy adapters for my PC and monitors for they also have type B plugs with ground pin.
