Product Details Description Ecologic™ LimeWash Platinum Customized Product Description: Ecologic™ LimeWash Platinum Customized is a 100% made in the U.S.A, breathable whitewash that is customized to simulate a paint swatch from a store or a sample from an existing painted surface. By utilizing our custom simulation service you can go beyond our stock colors and create a truly breathtaking finish that closely resembles your paint swatch or existing paint. Our whitewash is a perfect complement to lime plaster and suitable for most backgrounds. It uses a custom formulated lime that is mixed with water on the job site, to create a stain-like coating for masonry. Where can the custom whitewash be applied? It can be applied to properly primed gypsum plasters, drywall, lining paper, cement and lime backgrounds, bricks, blocks, smooth (stone, wood, and fence posts, with the addition of 15% Ecologic Acrylic Latex Additive), and untreated aged timber. It is vapor permeable and immune to salt attack. Due to its crystal structure and chemistry, vapor in the wall is able to evaporate out. Since water nor salts will get trapped behind the limewash, it will not bubble, blister, or flake off. Custom Simulations are pre-fabricated custom formulated mixes that are developed from customer submitted samples (i.e. brick, stone, mortar, paint samples, or color swatches).
