Description Ecologic™ Mortar Product Description: Mix and Go lime mortar based on NHL 3.5 pre-blended with sand (contains no Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)) to be used for repointing and laying stone and brick. Available in 12 stock colors and 3 different grades: Coarse(G) to be used for joints over 3/8″ Fine (F) to be used for joints between 1/4”-3/8” Butter Joint to be used for joints under 1/4” deGruchy’s Ecologic™ Mortar, in any of the stock colors, is simply a prepared blend of binder/aggregate/pigments to which you just add water, mix and go to work. Use it on historic buildings to re-point, stucco, parge, and plaster. Ecologic™ Lime Mortar can also be used to lay/re-lay brick, terra cotta, block and stone on modern construction. Ecologic™ Mortar is a “Green” Product and the result is an “Old World” Lime finish that is chemically and physically suitable as a replacement mortar for historic masonry.
