Product Details Description Lime Paint Product Description: Vibrant and beautiful, the Le Décor – Saint-Astier® lime paint range is the perfect complement to lime plaster and is suitable for most backgrounds. More like a stain than paint, lime paint is absorbed into the wall, penetrating the background. Once cured, the mineral paint allows the surface to breathe, becoming a peel-free surface as it allows humidity to escape. It can be applied to gypsum plasters, drywall, lining paper, cement and lime backgrounds, bricks, blocks, and untreated timber. Can be applied with a natural bristle brush or sprayed. Sold as a powder Available in 25 stock colors Custom colors are available upon request Lime Paints – Recommendations & Data: It can be applied to gypsum plasters, drywall, lining paper, cement and lime backgrounds, bricks, blocks, and untreated timber. Mixing Lime Paint: Fill the container with clean water to the beginning of the round opening from the bottom going up. Proper mixing is essential. When mixed it should be completely free of lumps or fine particles. For gallon and quart containers put the lid on securely and shake for 3-5 minutes to thoroughly mix the paint. For mixing a five-gallon pail blend using a drill mixer with a paddle attachment for 3-5 minutes to thoroughly mix. Best to let sit with the lid on for 24 hours before use. Stir and apply to per dampened masonry surface.
