The Japa 395 can process up to 16 inch diameter, and split up to 20.5 inch lengths. The 395 is easy to use with electric over hydraulic joystick control of infeed / cut / split functions, hydraulic knife height adjustment, and more. This machine is offered in three power source configurations: PTO powered (any tractor with a 540 RPM PTO shaft and more than 35 horsepower), 480 volt 3 phase electric, or the Honda iGX700 v-twin gas engine package. The Japa 395 is extremely easy to operate with one hand joystick control of infeed / sawing / splitting functions. Push the joystick up and to the left to infeed the log, pull the bottom electric trigger and down on the joystick to cut, pull the top trigger on the joystick to engage the split cycle – which then cycles forward and back automatically. Optional hydraulic log racks are available for this machine – we recommend the 471 2 chain rack for best optimal performance. A 4.2M / 13.8′ powered outfeed conveyor is standard with this machine.
